World-class teacher + pianist, Clifford Evans was born in the UK and commenced his piano studiess at the age of 5, then later at the Birmingham Conservatoire and Royal Academy of Music London, where he won many prizes and scholarships including the Beethoven prize and the Principal's special prize.
Talented, serious minded musician is how his teacher Pavel Serebriakoff described Clifford at the end of a British Council scholarship at the Leningrad (St Petersburg) Conservatoire where he had lessons with its Principal and with Elena Vasilevna Serkova
